GETRENK Geo-Engineering and Environmental Consultants is a registered Sierra Leonean consulting firm headquartered in Freetown. Founded in 2020 by Mr. Issa Conteh, the firm specialises in a comprehensive range of geoengineering activities including geotechnical investigation, drilling, soil survey and in-situ testing, laboratory analysis, environmental management and quality control, hydrogeology, geophysics, topographic surveying, and professional training.
With over 20 years of combined professional experience, GETRENK’s team is uniquely positioned to assist donors, government agencies, and private sector clients in designing and managing geoengineering-related development projects. The firm’s experts bring the requisite skills and in-house facilities — including its own GY-150T Drilling Rig — to deliver any traditional or turnkey project using whichever procurement method clients require.
A highly qualified and experienced Project Manager is appointed to lead each project team, ensuring direct, accountable engagement with every client. Our Equipment
GETRENK owns and operates a GY-150T Drilling Rig — a versatile, heavy-duty rig capable of:
- Percussion and rotary drilling modes
- Collection of disturbed soil samples
- Collection of undisturbed soil samples
- Standard Penetration Testing (SPT) at 1.0m depth intervals
- Drilling to significant depths for comprehensive subsurface investigation
