• Recent Projects (2025–2026)

CLIENT: Marampa Mines Limited (MML) PROJECT: Plate-Load Test at Tokeh — April 2026 Conducted a Plate-Load test for MML’s property at Tokeh to determine the allowable bearing capacity for proposed construction. A detailed geotechnical report with technical conclusions was submitted upon completion.

CLIENT: SL Rack GmbH PROJECT: Topographic Survey for 50-Acre Solar Park — Bo-Kenema Highway, May 2026 Engaged by SL Rack GmbH to conduct a topographic survey and coordinate verification for a 50-acre Solar Park project property along the Bo-Kenema Highway. A complete field report was submitted upon conclusion.

CLIENT: Private Client PROJECT: Non-Destructive Structural Integrity Test — Wilkinson Road, May 2025 Performed a Schmidt Hammer (Non-Destructive) Structural Test on a privately owned property. Two-day field programme with a detailed structural evaluation report, technical conclusions, and recommendations submitted to the client.

CLIENT: NEGMAR Investment Cooperation SL Ltd. PROJECT: Geotechnical Investigation — Government Wharf & Lungi Targrin Terminal, June 2025 Geotechnical prefeasibility investigation and laboratory analysis of soil samples from 4 boreholes (2 at Government Wharf, 2 at Lungi Targrin). SPT conducted at 1.0m intervals; mechanical borings to 30m depth. Detailed geotechnical report with recommendations submitted.

CLIENT: TETRA-TECH, AXIAN & CCEMAT PROJECT: Geotechnical Investigation — PV Solar Plant, Tilorma/Darma Site, Kenema, February 2025 Geotechnical investigation, mechanical boring, and laboratory analysis of soil samples for the proposed photovoltaic solar plant. Comprehensive report with design recommendations submitted.

CLIENT: TBEA & 2E SYSTEM / World Bank (EDSA / Ministry of Energy) PROJECT: Geotechnical Investigation — Regional Emergency Solar Power Intervention, Newton & Lungi, January 2025 World Bank-sponsored project. GETRENK performed all surveys for borehole locations, drilling, and preparation of a detailed report with recommendations. Results were shared with EDSA and the Ministry of Energy for foundation design at both sites. Project duration: 2 months.

CLIENT: NEGMAR Sierra Leone PROJECT: Geotechnical Investigation — Government Wharf & Lungi Ferry Terminals, May 2025 Geotechnical borings and laboratory analyses of soil samples. Comprehensive geotechnical report with recommendations for both ferry terminal sites.

CLIENT: Catholic Relief Service (CRS) Sierra Leone PROJECT: Geotechnical Investigation — Transforming Lives Project, Cockle Bay, Kolleh Town, Kroo Bay, June 2024 Selected through competitive bidding. Executed geotechnical investigation, mechanical boring, and laboratory analysis at three proposed sites. In-depth geotechnical report with recommendations submitted.

CLIENT: HEMA Construction Company (supervised by K5 SL) PROJECT: Geotechnical Investigation & Concrete Compressive Strength Testing — Tacugama & Leicester Peak, November 2024–ongoing Laboratory analysis of soil samples and Unconfined Compression Strength (UCS) tests for all concrete works at project sites. Detailed results were submitted to the supervising client.

CLIENT: SEACON PROJECT: Geotechnical Investigation — Atlantic Bridge Foundation, Freetown Comprehensive geotechnical investigation for the proposed Atlantic Bridge: borehole drilling, SPT, disturbed and undisturbed sample collection, groundwater sampling, and full laboratory characterisation. CLIENT: Planet Core Group PROJECT: Geotechnical Investigation, Topographic Survey & EIA — 50MW Solar Project, Sierra Leone Multi-site investigation across 12 locations: Kambia, Port Loko, Kamakuwe, Kono, Kailahun, Pujehun, Bo, Kenema, Moyamba, Bonthe, Mile 91, and Makoth. Services included borehole drilling, SPT, laboratory analysis, topographic surveys, and Environmental Impact Assessment.

CLIENT: National Contracting Company Limited PROJECT: Subsurface Investigation — TRANSCO CLSG 225kV Overhead Transmission Line Lot 2 (Liberia) Soil and subsoil investigations, borehole drilling, sample collection, laboratory testing, and a full investigation report for power transmission infrastructure in Liberia.

CLIENT: Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited PROJECT: Subsurface Investigation — TRANSCO CLSG 225kV Transmission Line Lot 4: Bikongor–Bumbuna–Yiben Non-destructive concrete in-situ strength testing for tower foundations along the 225kV power transmission line; groundwater depth monitoring using dip-meter.

CLIENT: Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd. PROJECT: Electrical Resistivity Testing (ERT) — 10MW Power Plants, Makoth Village & Koidu City, Kono District, September 2022 ERT investigation for the proposed 10MW power plant construction at two locations.

CLIENT: Vimetco SMHL PROJECT: Geotechnical Investigation — Foundation Design for 2 New Mine Plants Full geotechnical programme including site reconnaissance, borehole drilling, SPT at 1.0m intervals, rock coring, laboratory characterisation, engineering analysis, detailed structural design of foundation systems, and report preparation.

CLIENT: Breat Construction Sierra Leone Limited PROJECT: Geotechnical Investigation — Proposed No. 2 Oil Tanks Drilling of 3 boreholes to various depths, SPT, disturbed and undisturbed sample collection, groundwater sampling, laboratory characterisation, and geotechnical report.

CLIENT: Sierra Rutile Limited PROJECT: Soil Investigation — Nitti Site Drilling of 2 boreholes to 20m depth each with full laboratory investigation: particle size distribution, shear box, moisture content, hydrometer, and Atterberg limit tests.

CLIENT: FG-Gold PROJECT: Laboratory Investigations Comprehensive laboratory programme including dispersion tests, point load tests, triaxial tests, sieve analysis, hydrometer analysis, Atterberg limits, CBR, standard and modified compaction tests, and soil chemical tests.

CLIENT: Summa Airports Sierra Leone Limited PROJECT: Freetown International Airport Extension Project — Borehole Well Construction & Pump Installation Contractor for drilling, construction of borehole wells, and installation of submersible electric pumps for airport infrastructure.

CLIENT: National Commission for Social Action (NACSA) PROJECT: Sierra Leone Community Development Drive Project Phase II (SLCDD2) Consultant for groundwater source development using geophysical methods, borehole drilling, and pumping test supervision. Also served as a contractor for solar pump construction and installation.

CLIENT: World Hope International PROJECT: WASH Programmes — Communities, Schools & Hospitals Contractor for drilling and construction of borehole wells with solar pump installations across multiple districts in Sierra Leone.

CLIENT: Africaine de Géotechnique, de Technologie et de Services (AGTS), Guinea/Senegal PROJECT: Multiple International Projects Sub-contractor for geotechnical borings and laboratory analyses on: Bumbuna Phase II (YIBEN DAM) Sierra Leone; TRANSCO-CLSG 225kV Power Transmission Towers in Liberia; and the Berth Extension Project at the Port of Freetown.
